The wards of Pentyrch and Gwaelod y Garth cover the whole of the Pentyrch Village over Garth Mountain and the Community of Gwaelod y Garth, plus the Llantrisant Road down to the Creigiau turnoff. This is a very large rural area with a lot of Farms, stables, and a Conference Centre.The local residents are very proactive in the area and have a very succesful Neighbourhood Watch group.
