I have been a School Community Police Officer since its inception in 2004 and a Police Officer in Merthyr since joining the Force in 1991. I have served at Gurnos, Dowlais and Town Centre Police Stations and am currently focussed on educating children on some of the dangers in life in an effort to keep them safe and to raise their awareness of important community issues. I attempt to broaden minds, break down barriers and assist young people in reaching their full potential. The SCPO role provides me with opportunities to interact with young people and to positively influence their future behaviours to make Merthyr a safer place to live and visit.
