PACT Projects

Parc Taff Bargoed
Parc Taff Bargoed is a a great facilty that we have in the lower end of the Merthyr Valley. It is a beautiful park which is home to the angling society and also being used by the canoeing club. It also has a mini skate park and enclosed basketball court. Unfortunately the parks facilities are not always used correctly with groups of youths drinking in the area over the weekends leaving behind empty cans and glass bottles which caused a danger to the parks environment and other people using the park. There are occurences of vandalism, so being very offensieve, which spoil the hard work that has gone into the area. We as a community team hope to deter further occurences of damage and anti social behaviour in the park through high visability patrols and working closely with the council, the park wardens, and other park users!
