Merthyr Town is the heart of the Merthyr Valley covering the busy shopping centre as well as serving the residents of Pontmorlais, Caedraw, Twynyrodyn and Penyard.

There are parking facilities located at the front of the station for members of the public who are on police business parking there for 20 minutes only. There are further parking facilities in the College car park as well as in the car park behind the Crown Inn, Lower High St. Disabled drivers can use the disabled bays to the side of the police station; please note that all of these car parks are pay and display .
The Police Station is open daily opening times are 8am to Midnight .
Please note that there is a free phone handset outside the front door.
