I am the Sector Inspector for the rural Vale of Glamorgan.  The sector covers a large geographical area which includes the wards of Cowbridge, Peterson super Ely, Wenvoe, St. Brides Major, Llandow/ Ewenny, St. Athan, Rhoose and Llantwit Major.
The Vale has dedicated teams of neighbourhood officers for each ward.
Our aim is to reduce crime and disorder and tackle issues of local concern by seeking to increase public confidence in local policing and finding alternative ways of community engagement.

Vale Sector

What area does Vale of Glamorgan Local Authority Cover?
 “The Vale Sector covers a large geographic area from Barry in the East to Bridgend in the west and bordered to the north by the M4 motorway. The sector is primarily rural in character with numerous small villages and hamlets. There are population centres within the sector at Cowbridge, Llantwit major, Rhoose and St Athan. Cardiff International Airport is located within the sector and RAF St Athan is the home base for the Welsh Guards Regiment. The Glamorgan Heritage Coast is regarded as one of the finest stretches of coastline in the country and forms the southern boundary of the sector.”
